We are seeking a talented and passionate Barber/Stylist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hair styling and barbering, with the ability to provide exceptional customer service. This role requires creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and preferences.

Duties

• Provide high-quality haircuts, styles, and grooming services for clients, ensuring satisfaction with each service.
• Perform additional services such as nail care, makeup application, eyelash extensions, and hair threading as needed.
• Utilize color theory knowledge to recommend and apply hair color treatments that enhance clients’ looks.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and tools in compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Engage in retail sales by recommending products that complement the services provided.
• Use MINDBODY software for scheduling appointments, managing client records, and processing payments.
• Build strong relationships with clients through effective communication and personalized service.

Requirements

• Proven experience in barbering or hair styling is essential.
• Knowledge of retail sales techniques is a plus.
• Proficiency in various hair styling techniques, including cutting, coloring, and texturizing.
• Familiarity with MINDBODY software is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Skills in nail care, makeup application, eyelash extensions, and hair threading are advantageous.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and understand their needs.
• A valid cosmetology or barbering license is required.
