We are seeking a talented and pre-established Hair Stylist to join our team working in a luxury beauty salon.

PLEASE NOTE: This position is for a RENTAL of a stylist chair – therefore you will not be considered a Vizavoo Salon employee and all services will be separately managed as your own business.

The ideal candidate MUST possess a strong background in various hair styling techniques and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. This role involves creating beautiful hairstyles, providing hair treatments, and ensuring clients leave the salon feeling confident and satisfied.

Responsibilities

• Establish a method for booking clients and manage your own schedule
• Have your own supplies and products to use on your clients
• Establish pricing and menu options
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized.
• Upsell salon products and services to enhance client satisfaction and boost salon revenue (as well as commission for yourself)

Duties

Perform hair styling services including cuts, colors, and treatments tailored to client preferences.

Execute hair threading, barbering, and straight razor techniques as requested by clients.

Apply hair extensions and provide consultations on suitable options for clients.

Offer makeup application to enhance the overall client experience.

Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to health and safety regulations.

Build strong relationships with clients through excellent customer service and personalized care.

Stay updated on the latest trends in hairstyling, products, and techniques to provide informed recommendations.

Qualifications

• Valid cosmetology license or equivalent certification is required.
• Proven experience in hair styling with a portfolio showcasing previous work.
• Proficiency in hair threading, barbering, makeup application, nail care, and use of salon software is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
• Attention to detail and a creative mindset to deliver unique styles that meet client expectations.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as needed.
